Megha is a qualified lawyer in Canada, United Kingdom and India. She did a five year integrated law degree from one of the leading law schools in India. She has had the experience of working as a trainee solicitor at a top Magic Circle Law Firm in London, U.K. and was selected to join the firm’s Projects and Infrastructure team in Dubai, U.A. E.

Megha obtained her Certificate of Accreditation from the National Committee on Accreditation, Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2015 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2018. She articled at a boutique family law firm and has represented clients at both provincial and supreme court levels, in meditations, and in case conferences. She has drafted separation agreements, pre-nuptial agreements, and has assisted with obtaining divorce and guardianship orders.

Prior to joining Bijan Law, Megha practiced in the Commercial Real Estate and Corporate/Commercial group for a large national firm in Vancouver. She has a range of experience in real estate and corporate matters from working as a general practice solicitor for the past two years. She has acted for clients in a variety of transactions including commercial real estate, commercial leasing, and secured financing transactions. Her responsive, reliable and detail-oriented approach allows her to understand and achieve clients’ goals through dependable and efficient solutions that allow companies to grow.

Outside work, Megha enjoys playing tennis, traveling and doing lots of fun activities with her toddler.
